Mike and I hosted our friends, The Marciano Family last night for dinner.
We had the best time. They have the cutest boys, Mathew and Thomas. When did kids get smarter than us? These two were stumping us on history questions. It was crazy. When I was their age, I was listening to my walkman of the Madonna, Like a Virgin, cassette. Yes I said cassette and not CD or IPod. There are times when I do feel like I'm getting old. For example, yesterday, I was talking about Rock of Love, and his younger guy in my office asked what that was and I explained it was with Bret Micheals. He did not know who that was, not to mention, Christine (who came over for dinner last night) did not know either!!! Hello - The band Poison...
Anyway, we had so much fun last night. We cannot wait to start hosting more people over for dinner. We are really coming together as a team. I prep everything, Mike cooks it (on the BBQ) and we clean up together. That is Relationship Inc. working at 100%!
We had our good friend Ramon over for dinner while he was in Denver for CAT duty!

We had dinner with Mike's Aunt Linda and his sister Lisa on Thursday. We had a very nice time! Can't wait for the next time we all get together!

Work has been less than fun lately, as some of you may know, so it is so nice to know that we have our family & friends to talk to when times get tough. Thanks Mom, Papa, Linda, Kathy and of course my Mikey for listening to me for hours the other night! I was having a pitty party - but I've moved on and am dusting myself off and getting ready for my new challenge. Plus Lisa will be here in 6 days, so I can't be upset and feeling sorry for myself when she gets here. We are going to have way too much fun!.JPG)
