After a few months of uncertainty, we now know what has been causing Rocky's seizures. He has Hydrocephalus. What is that you might ask. It is a neurological disease in which there is excessive accumulation of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) within the ventricular system of the brain. AKA - water on the brain. This is a congenital defect and is common in toy breeds. His case is not very serious and we plan to treat his seizures with Potassium Bromide indefinitely.
