Home Sweet Portland

I was fortunate to be able to go back to Portland for work this last weekend (Halloween) through Wednesday. It was so great to see my family and some of my friends.

Here are the photos from my adventure!

When I arrived in Portland, Papa/Barry was waiting for me at the airport to surprise me. He was not there to pick me up, he just wanted to be the first to see me and to give me a beautiful pink Rose. Papa, I love you so much!

Next I was off to get my hair done. It looks great (now). People in Denver keep telling me to get a stylist here. How can I when Bon-Mom does such a good job. Six bottles of product later, I was out the door off to Lexi's last cheerleading game. Yes, cheerleading! I then went to my mom's house where she hosted taco's and the group watched the Duck's game as Tammy, Angela, and I took Lexi trick or treating. That was a lot of fun!

The next day was just as packed as the first day! Lexi and I got up, went to Starbucks, then off to our favorite breakfast place Mothers. If you have not ever been there, you do not know what you are missing!

Of course, there was a wait, so we decided to go to Saturday Market. At that time Lexi asked why it was called Saturday Market and it was on both Saturday and Sunday. I told her she got me ;-)

During the 4 block walk we got to see my favorite happy hour (HH) location. Portland City Grill. Although, you cannot see the entire building in this picture due to the amount of fog Sunday, it is a great place to go!

After breakfast we took a drive to West Linn to see how much it has changed. Not much in 5 months ;-) We then went to our favorite pottery place - Paint n' Fire.

After we painted our master pieces, we went to Bonnie and Barry's for a visit. That was a nice time.

The next few days I had to work...

But Tuesday night I got downtown to see the girls. I didn't think of taking pictures until later but Lynn, Siboney, Lindsay, Lisa, and Kim were there before the pictures started... Sorry girls, but it was great to see you and good to know that I will be able to attend the ornament exchange again this year!

Here is me and Tammy! Then, there is Trina, me, Tammy, April and Michelle! I have the best friends anywhere!!!!
